COVID-19 - CURRENT MEASURES IN PLACE AT TLC-WA

UPDATE EFFECTIVE 1 November 2020

TLC-WA took the difficult decision to close all face to face appointments for our clients from Tuesday 24th March 2020. This decision was made in order to protect the health of our therapists, our clients and the wider community. Given the fantastic work done by the WA community, we are pleased that TLC WA has been very successful with the ongoing provision of face to face appointments since 11 May 2020. Our team continues to ensure all equipment, toys, etc are sanitised regularly throughout the day and we have hand sanitiser available to everyone who enters the clinic.

The NDIA has extended the use of funds for Telehealth appointments. Please follow the link for further information for participants https://www.ndis.gov.au/coronavirus/participants-coronavirus-covid-19

Medicare and private health fund rebates for Telehealth appointments have also been extended beyond the original deadline of 30 September 2020. These are temporary items only, so we will let you know when this service is no longer be available.

Please note that whilst all precautions remain in place regarding infection control and to minimise the risk of community transmission, we ask that you do not attend the clinic if you, or any of your close contacts, have ANY signs of illness.
