Emma is an approachable, attentive and kind-natured Speech Pathologist with a Bachelor’s Degree in Science (Speech Pathology) from Curtin University. Previous to this, Emma completed a Bachelor of Science at the University of Western Australia, with a degree-specific (first) major in Pathology and Laboratory Medicine and secondary major in Italian Studies.
Emma is dedicated to a collaborative therapy approach; ensuring that each therapeutic plan made is meaningful and will have the most functional impact to her clients and their families. Emma has particular interests in early intervention, articulation and phonological disorders, literacy and working with culturally and linguistically diverse families.
Emma believes in actively seeking ongoing professional development, and has received training in the evidence-based approaches Sounds~Write, Key Word Sign and Story Champs.
In her free time, Emma enjoys singing, going to the beach and spending time in nature.
Emma is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist.
