Rhonda Edwards

Rhonda has been working as a Speech Pathologist for over 10 years predominately with pre-school and school aged children. Rhonda believes in the importance of meeting a child where they are at; following a child’s interests and strengths; neurodiversity-affirming principles/ practices; and strengths-based therapy. She has a special interest in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and has completed additional training in this area.

Rhonda is a Hanen certified Speech Pathologist in the “Learning Language and Loving It” program for early years educators, the “Target Word”, “It Takes Two to Talk” and “More Than Words” parent programs. Rhonda has also completed the SOS Approach to Feeding Training Conference.

Her outside interests include walking her dog, Peregrine; baking cakes; supporting the West Coast Eagles; learning to sew her own clothes and spending time with friends and family.

Rhonda is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist
