Malanie Scholtz

Having moved from South-Africa in 2013, Malanie completed high school and then graduated from Perth’s Edith Cowan University in 2017. Having completed 2 years of work in Pediatric OT for both the Government and in private practice, Malanie joined the TLC team in January 2019.

Malanie provides a range of Occupational Therapy services to children and their families including individual assessment and direct intervention, consultation with families, teachers and education assistants. She also completes both school and home visits to optimize the practicality and transferability of their developing skills and strategies. She has been blessed to work with kids of a variety of ages, ranging from 1 year to 14 years old.

Malanie is passionate about supporting children’s quality of life and daily independence by facilitating the development of areas including fine motor, handwriting, sensory processing, daily activities, school functioning, behavior and attention, play, toileting, feeding and emotional regulation skills. Through her creativity, kindness, gentleness and faith, Malanie ensures each treatment plan is individualized and fun to foster greater participation and improved confidence.

Malanie is married to her high school sweetheart, has a pet rabbit named Truffles, and enjoys traveling, photography, baking and interior design in her spare time. Malanie is a registered member of the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
