Jane Edwards

Jane, an Irish girl, graduated from Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen, Scotland, in 2020. She has worked across various settings, including child and adolescent mental health services and community paediatrics. Jane spent two years working in England before moving to Melbourne, where she lived for two years. She has recently relocated to Perth.
Jane has a keen interest in working with children who have emotional dysregulation, ADHD, autism, dyspraxia, and other motor planning difficulties. She is also passionate about supporting children with social skills and helping them build meaningful connections with others.
Currently, Jane is undergoing studies to complete the Jean Ayres Sensory Integration Certificate. She loves using sensory integration to help children understand themselves better and how their environments can impact them.
Jane focuses on including parents in her approach to therapy, helping them develop skills and confidence to support their children at home. She ensures that therapy is tailored to each child to achieve their personalized goals in a way that is challenging, yet motivating and engaging.
Jane is very outgoing, always keen to try new activities and explore new areas. She plays various sports and enjoys hiking and camping!
