Erin Vingerhoets

Erin graduated with a BSc in Speech Pathology from Curtin University in 2019.

Erin is passionate about supporting children and families to achieve their communication goals and has a particular interest in working with children with disabilities. Erin has received training in ‘Sounds-Write’ from the Dyslexia-SPELD Foundation. ‘Sounds-Write’ is an evidence based phonics programme, which is a highly successful approach to teaching reading, spelling and writing. She is also ‘PROMPT’ trained and applies this technique when assisting children with Phonological and Motor Speech Disorders. Her other areas of interest include early language development, articulation, social skills and fluency. Erin recently returned from a four week trip to Cambodia, where she worked with children and adults in rural communities to improve their communication and swallowing skills. She also supported them to learn English.

In her spare time, Erin enjoys practicing yoga and going on road trips to the South of WA. Erin also enjoys spending time with her Jack Russell Terrier, Jack and her tabby cat, Murray.

Erin is a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist.
